To follow Lil B on social media is to be constantly bombarded with all aspects of the prolific rapper’s personality, from astute analysis to seemingly nonsensical tirade (and some hilarious roasting of Post Malone, for which he later apologized). Recently, the Berkeley native has been especially active on the web and, as the BasedGod shared on Twitter, his words have earned him a suspension on Facebook.
“Found out Facebook banned me for 30 days becuase I was talking about white people,” he wrote on Monday on Twitter. A representative for Facebook confirmed that the rapper’s account had been suspended following a violation of the company’s hate speech policies. The offending posts have since been deleted, the spokesperson told Motherboard.
This isn’t the first time Lil B has been banned from Facebook. In 2014, he tweeted, ““WOW HAHAHAA AYYY YALL FACEBOOK JUST BANNED ME!!! HELP ME GET MY PROFILE BACK! I KEPT IT TO REAL!!!!!!! I GOT OVER 500k LIKES.”
Representatives for Lil B and Facebook were not immediately available for comment.
