Fredo Santana, the raucous Chicago rapper whose music was inextricably linked with trap’s rise to the mainstream, has reportedly died at the age of 27. The news first came through social media with Drake and Lil Durk posting tributes to the artist, born Derrick Coleman. There is no official confirmation of his death as yet. Coleman had been hospitalized with liver and kidney failure in October 2017.
