Welcome to Cover Awe! Last time, we had some suggestions to include the names of the cover artists. We’ll be doing that going forward, though most books we feature that haven’t been released yet don’t allow us to “take a look” inside the book via Amazon or Google Books to check the copyright page or book jacket. Just an FYI!

If you do happen to locate the cover artist, let us know and we’ll update the post!

Full Disclosure by Camryn Garrett. A woman with deep black skin and natural hair is facing away from the cover. The background is light blue that matches her tank top.

Elyse: This is so simple and beautiful.

Amanda: I don’t think I’ve ever been more stunned by a person’s back.

The Lady and Her Secret Lover by Jenn Leblanc. Two women in very gorgeous dresses are cuddled up together.

Cover design by Jenn Leblanc & Illustrated Romance.

Amanda: Everything looks so soft!

Elyse: They look like they just had some awesome sex and now everyone is ready for a nap.

Carrie: Snuggles and tulle!

Elyse: Those would be amazing names for a pair of French Bulldogs

Amanda: Now we have to start a SBTB animal shelter.

Elyse: No because we’d adopt them all.

Dear Haiti, Love Alaine by Maika Moulite and Maritza Moulite. An illustrated cover in a gorgeous coral. A young black woman stands in a similarly colored dress with a plant pattern. She's rocking a pair of killer sunglasses.

Elyse: That coral red is one of my favorite colors. This cover is so beautiful.

Carrie: I love the colors and the attitude.

Amanda: I met the sister authors in person at BEA and they were so lovely! And the cover colors are even more vibrant in person.

American Royals by Katharine McGree. An illustrated cover with lots of details. It's a close up a young woman. She has star earrings, white sunglasses, a ring in the shape of a crown, and a manicure with stars and stripes designs. The blue wallpaper in the background has a pattern of crowns and cherries.

Amanda: I love all the details in this one. The nail polish! The jewelry! The wallpaper!

Carrie: I love the color scheme and contrasting patterns

Elyse: The details are so beautiful.
