Toronto-based artist Claire Mortifee recently released their single “Wide Open Ocean”, along with its beautiful accompanying visuals. The sensual track makes the most of Mortifee’s slight rasp, falsetto, and moody purrs, and is an ode to self-love and self-exploration as explained on the singer’s Instagram. “I moved to Toronto alone and began healing on my own terms,” she said.
The video finds Mortifee surrounded by women of all shapes and sizes, all under the perfect this-must-be-what-heaven-is-like sunlight.
