The Apple Fall Product Lineup Will Include More Than Just a New iPhone

Apple’s No. 1 product is set to get its most significant update in just a few months. However, the iPhone isn’t the only new hardware piece to expect to launch soon.

The Apple Watch Series 3 should arrive in September alongside the next iPhone. The wearable device is likely to keep the design found on previous models. Instead of using a touch-on-lens screen, however, the Series 3 could offer a glass-film touchscreen. A glucose monitor is also a possibility.

A fifth-generation Apple TV should arrive before the end of the year. Little has leaked about this device, except that it’s likely to feature 4K compatibility. Of note:

Of note: Beyond announcing that Amazon Video was coming to Apple TV this summer, Apple barely mentioned tvOS during Monday’s WWDC keynote address. This omission suggests either a) Apple has big plans for the platform that don’t involve developers or b) there won’t be any significant software changes coming this year.

We should also see new AirPods launch this year. Let’s hope the production issues that continue to affect shipments of the current model aren’t carried over to another year.

Also coming this fall, of course, is the recently announced Siri-powered HomePod speaker and iMac Pro.
